Move In/Move Out Procedures

All office moves and large deliveries must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance with the Building Office to take place before or after normal business hours, which are 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.  The vendor must submit an Access Request Form (click here) and a valid certificate of insurance to the Building Office prior to work commencement.  Requirements and samples of the requirements are found here.

A tenant representative must be on site during the move.  If damage is discovered to any of the building common areas after the move is complete, Building Management will schedule any minor repair work, such as painting, cleaning or carpet repair and will invoice the party that scheduled the work.  It will be the Tenant’s responsibility to seek reimbursement from the vendor responsible for the damage.

All vendors must provide masonite, removable tape and corner guards for protection.  The flooring in the hallway, leading from the loading dock to the freight elevator, must be covered with masonite.  The granite surrounding the rear entrance to the freight elevator must be protected (especially the corners).  The floor receiving the move or delivery should have the same protection, including elevator corners.  All protection, tape remnants, etc., are to be removed by the vendor at the conclusion of the move.
