Fire/Life Safety

201 Spear Street is a fully sprinklered building. A building-wide public address system is located in the Fire Control Room along with the Life Safety System. A Life Safety Plan has been established and approved by the San Francisco Fire Department.

Annual fire drills are held and all tenants are instructed in procedures to follow in the event of an emergency. The Chief Engineer has received training as a High Rise Fire Safety Director and holds a current certificate.
